This SINGLE CASK RELEASE of ONLY 602 BOTTLES pays tribute to the Hosh, the beautiful and secluded lands surrounding our distillery since 1775.
Filled with Glenturrets new make spirit on the 20.04.2007, CASK 106 a FIRST-FILL EUROPEAN OAK SHERRY BUTT, rested peacefully in the warehouse at the heart of the Hosh. 13 years later, the unified spirit was drawn, sampled by Ian Renwick, Distillery Manager, and selected for bottling at Cask Strength, 59.4% Vol.
NATURAL COLOUR and NON-CHILL FILTERED for maximum flavour, this LIMITED RELEASE OF ONLY 602 BOTTLES showcases The Glenturret signature character. Soft on the nose, GINGER and SUBTLE FRUITS evolve. On the palate DARKER FRUITS start to appear with a slight edge of GINGER - warm at first with a HONEY sweetness to follow. WOOD SPICES slowly reveal, leading to a dry, lingering finish with hints of LIGHT SPICE.Â
