The new distillery on the Eden Campus is scheduled to open in 2024
The new distillery building planned by the Scottish spirits manufacturer Eden Mill is moving into the second phase. In March 2022, planning permission was received for the construction of a new CO2-neutral distillery including a visitor center on the University of St. Andrews campus. Work on the new distillery building began last year. At the end of Phase 2, which is now underway, the distillery will be operational and ready for production. The new distillery will also feature a Gin & Whisky Experience and a café from which visitors can look out over the River Eden Estuary. The opening of the new distillery is planned for next year.
