Who's for a Whisky Pancake?

Who says whisky is just for drinking neat?!

Why not try adding a little Deanston to Shrove Tuesday with this delicious whisky pancake recipe?

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 300ml milk

• 60ml Deanston Virgin Oak

• 2 cups plain white flour

• 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

• 2 teaspoons baking powder

• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

• 1/2 teaspoon table salt

• 1 large egg

• 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly

HOW TO MAKE THEM

• Mix all the dry ingredients together

• Mix the wet ingredients separately

• Combine the two together

• Heat a little oil or butter in a frying pan and add pancake mixture

• Cook until golden brown and serve with syrup, berries and a wee dram of Deanston whisky.
